A love your neighbor project.

Urban Exchange creates opportunities for compassionate action in our neighborhoods, addressing diverse community needs. Since 2015, we’ve mobilized teams to tackle challenges like trash cleanup, graffiti removal, meal sharing, food distribution, and hygiene supply giveaways.

As we identify and respond to our neighbors' needs, we adapt our programs to connect resources and ideas. We also reflect on our own biases and limits, inviting the love of God to motivate us in serving others. Through this work, we build personal connections with those often marginalized.

Our goal is to bring people together to make a meaningful impact on the challenges facing our city, while connecting you with a community of individuals who are like hearted.

We invite you to partner with us! We coordinate service projects for churches, nonprofits, schools, local businesses, and community groups in San Francisco, CA, and Detroit, MI.
